Advanced Flight Data & Cockpit Voice Recorder
SkyLog-25A CVFDR
The flight recorder (SkyLog-25A series) product line has been uniquely designed as a drop-in replacement for legacy recorders installations without the need to replace the CCP or CAM. No changes to the maintenance manuals or test procedures. It meets all EUROCAE ED-112A requirements for all aircraft classes in CVFDR or standalone FDR or CVR requirements, including 25-hour cockpit audio and datalink/CPDLC.
Standard recording interfaces include:
- ARINC 573/717/747/(542A in development)
- ARINC 429 (OMS, GMT, CPDLC)
- ARINC 557/757
- Single part number for Boeing/Airbus OMS systems
- Configuration Module selects: A557/757 Audio level, OMS (210-900-00), Voltage level for pre amp, test responses
Download with an internal web server and standard modular ethernet jack able to connect to a standard portable computer. A restricted-access custom aircraft interface cable can be used to support download of CVR audio data without need for removal from the aircraft and subsequent recertification. A standard Internal TPM 2.0 security chip also enhances cyber security when connected to other ethernet based aircraft systems.
Power with either 115 VAC 400Hz, or 28VDC. All CVRs and CVFDRs are delivered with an internal Recorder Independent Power Supply (RIPS) as standard equipment to support 10-minute backup.
