Not only is the hardware impressive with a large display screen format packaged in a robust and ruggedized case, but the software is also quite remarkable being very intuitive and easy to navigate. And it does not end there, the DART unit is continuously being updated to add more functionality to meet customer needs and future proof the tool. More impressive than the hardware and software is the customer service and support I have received from KGB Aviation; it is definitely second to none.”

We all very much enjoy using it compared to trying to figure out what system, if any, that we have here on station will be able to download the FDR’s; It’s always very much dependent on which FDR the various planes have. The DART solves that. It’s very easy to use and understand, and the capability of it saving all of the data, if not connected to the internet, and it sending it when we are back on Wi-Fi is really useful. As for KGB, I’m not sure that any of us have had to contact them, but I can reach out to my counterparts Anatoly and his wife Svetlana if we need them. I will say that the only drawback, that can be mitigated is that it’s not always available when we have a workorder requiring downloads, but better planning would correct that. Anyway, I hope this helps and someone is always here if you need anything else.”
