HUNTSVILLE, AL — RMCI, Inc. today announced a strategic partnership with KGB Aviation to distribute the SkyLog-25, a fully TSOA certified 25-hour Flight Data and Cockpit Voice Recorder (FDR/CVR) that meets the rigorous ED-112A crash survivability standards. Through this agreement, RMCI will serve as a distributor of the SkyLog-25 to government and commercial aviation operators while integrating the recorder with RMCI’s XRDS Health and Usage Monitoring System (HUMS).
The XRDS HUMS provides advanced aircraft health and usage monitoring by continuously collecting and analyzing aircraft performance, vibration, and system data to support predictive maintenance, improve fleet readiness, and enhance operational safety.
Engineered for seamless integration and long-term supportability, the SkyLog-25 provides fixed-wing and rotary-wing operators with a high-reliability, cost-efficient replacement for legacy recorders now challenged by obsolescence, rising maintenance costs, and diminishing parts availability. Featuring modern technology and meeting ED-112A standards, the SkyLog-25 enables direct recording of data from RMCI’s XRDS HUMS into a Crash Survivable Memory Unit (CSMU), ensuring that critical aircraft health and operational information is preserved alongside cockpit voice and flight data in the event of an aviation mishap.
